Holi, an ancient Indian springtime festival, may very well be the most popular Indian festival around the world. The playful throwing of colours is a way to celebrate the end of winter and the blossoming of flowers in spring. It also signifies forgiveness and new starts with cheers. It is a carnival of the new seasons, love, and colours.

Disclaimer: On the grounds that coloured powders are no longer permitted in Taiwan, this event will not utilize any coloured powders whatsoever. Organic, non-flammable, non-toxic, water-based paints that wash off with water will be used & distributed evenly (in packets) to each Holi member. They are safe for health and friendly to the environment. Holi and similar festivals, such as Songkran, Thailand’s annual water festival, have been practised for centuries in a safe and positive manner, and should not be considered hazardous in any way.
