'Mayur Indian Kitchen' also known as MIK Indian restaurant chain in Taipei is a growing chain of restaurants, caterers & Online Indian stores & Food delivery system that came into being in the winter of 2011 in Taipei, Taiwan.
It serves authentic Indian food (台北印度菜), like Thalis
(set menus) bread, curries and tandoori dishes of halal meat (清真料理) from 14 different cuisines of India,
with additional expertise in South Indian & pure vegetarian food.
MIK serve Halal meats only without any beef or pork servings except MIK-1, MIK-6 location.
MIK-2, MIK-3, MIK-5, MIK-6, MIK-7 has the bar with many varieties of beer, whiskey and wine. We are open for Indian food catering, delivery takes away, or to organize events in Taipei, Taiwan.
'Mayur Indian Kitchen' was born out by Indian Master Chef Mayur's love of food and drink.
'We' work here more of a passion than a job.
In a relatively short amount of time, we grew into one of the leading Indian restaurant and Indian food caterers in the Hospitality Industry of Taipei, Taiwan. Our goal is to create tailor-made food that is planned with precision and executed beyond expectation.

Prices at Mayur Indian Kitchen are quite reasonable for the flavors and portions compared to other Indian restaurants in Taipei and there's definitely been a need for a good Indian spot in the Xinyi area, as my last few visits to mall food court Indian Palace were quite bad. Even though ordering ala carte can get pricier than the lunch curry set (about NT$200-400/person), it's steal for the variety, and still cheaper than taking a taxi to Saffron, my current favorite Indian restaurant in Taipei.

I dined at Mayur Indian Kitchen’s newest branch on Tonghua Street (通化街). Being technically a buffet restaurant, there are no frills, just simple red and green walls, mirrors and colorful plates. Though modest and compact, the establishment exudes a warm, neighborhood vibe.
Mayur Indian Kitchen offers North Indian and South Indian cuisine, vegetarian and non-vegetarian, halal and non-halal. They have 4 branches, each with a different menu and concept ranging from buffet to fine dining.
The chef and owner, Mayur Srivastava, helped us thread through the exhaustive menu and recommend a few dishes — meat for me, vegetarian for my friend.
